Information for travellers

CRU will be following all the guidance, precautions and measures recommended by authorities and the W Santiago Hotel to make your experience safe, productive, and welcoming for everyone.

We recommend you read the current requirements for entering Chile here

Important to note:

-  Chilean government requires everyone entering Chile to have proof of vaccination validated by the Chilean authorities prior to travel. To do this, you must apply online to have your vaccination validated and receive a Chilean “Pase de Movilidad” (Mobility Pass) by visiting MeVacuno website. You should allow up to 30 days for your application to be processed.

- If you do not hold a valid COVID Mobility Pass (domestic “green or Covid card”) you will not be able to attend the conference.

Our approach for the conference is to enhance the health and safety standards in place, with additional measures designed to provide confidence we are striving to provide the highest standards of safety, hygiene, cleanliness and quality.

Covid-19 Procedures

We are committed to delivering an exceptional live, in-person event that supports the copper industry. During the event, we will be taking the following precautions:

We will be keeping social distancing in mind in the auditorium, and one-way systems to and from the meeting/exhibition room.
There will be a mask mandate in place, that all attendees are required to observe unless you are eating or drinking or are exempt.

Coloured wrist bands for people to choose their comfort level of interaction for all attendees will be available.

Additional hand sanitisation and spare masks will be available.

No onsite registration will be permitted in 2022, all delegates MUST pre-register for the event

Staff on the registration desk will hand out badges and will be wearing masks and gloves.

Food service will be available during refreshment break and lunches: all catering will be served by chefs/caterers.

Details of the local Covid-19 test centre will be available from the registration desk, and there will be a requirement that anyone feeling ill gets tested
