Matthew Chamberlain is the CEO of the London Metal Exchange and a member of the Management Committee of HKEX Group. He was previously the COO and Head of Strategy of the LME and co-Head of Business Development across the LME and LME Clear. During his time at the LME, Matthew has led the LME’s warehousing reform process, the deployment of the new London platinum and palladium prices and the LME precious initiative. Matthew joined the LME in November 2012 having advised HKEX on the acquisition of the LME while heading European financial technology coverage at UBS. Previously, he was a founding member of the financial institutions coverage team at Perella Weinberg. He started his career at Citibank. Matthew holds an MA from Cambridge University.

Erik Heimlich is Head of Copper and Zinc at CRU and works across the portfolio of products analysing key trends and developments in these industries.Since joining CRU in 2012, Erik has been particularly involved in the analysis of the copper market with a particular focus on Latin American mine supply and the global copper concentrates market.Erik holds an MSc in Economics and Econometrics from Essex University and is based in CRU's Santiago office.

Chenfei is Head of CRU's Wire and Cable team, and works across the full portfolio of products analysing key trends and developments in both the metallic wire and cable, and optical fibre industries. He is a Principal Analyst and also the current editors of CRU's Telecom Cables Market Outlook and Optical Fibre and Cable Monitor.Chenfei joined CRU in early 2019 as an Analyst within the Wire and Cable team. At CRU, Chenfei held various editorship roles including Wire and Cable Market Outlook and HV and EHV Cables Market Outlook. Prior to CRU, Chenfei was working at Rolls-Royce in a variety of engineering leadership roles, with a focus on aeroengine technology development and manufacturing process improvement. He holds an MSc in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering from Imperial College London, and a BEng (Hons) in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the University of Auckland. Chenfei spent 3.5 years in CRU London office and he is now based in CRU Shanghai office.

Francisco joined CRU Consulting in 2019 after a nine-year career across the base and battery metals sector. Before this Francisco co-founded and led the business development at Kura Minerals, advising on acquisition strategies, deal structuring and project financing across a wide spectrum of mining companies and financial institutions.

Francisco also worked at BHP where he was responsible for geometallurgy and project development at Escondida mine site in northern Chile, and involved in mineral processing R&D for different assets in the company’s Copper group.

During his MSc degree thesis, Francisco explored public policy and macroeconomics aspects of the resource industry´s role in economic growth.

Francisco based in CRU's Santiago office holds a Chemical Engineer degree from University of Concepción, Chile and a M.Sc. Industry, Trade & Development from University of Manchester, United Kingdom.

He serves as an active board member of the Tanzania Truck Owners Association(TATOA) and played a key role as a founding board member in the establishment of theAssociation of Tanzania Oil and Gas Suppliers (ATOGS). His contributions have been influential inshaping the logistics landscape in Tanzania.
