ALLEIMA

Alleima is a leading manufacturer of high value-added products in advanced stainless steels and special alloys as well as products for industrial heating. Our origins date back to 1862 and the foundation of the company Sandvikens Jernverk by Göran Fredrik Göransson, a pioneer in using the Bessemer method for steel production on an industrial scale.

Based on long-term customer partnerships, we advance processes and applications in the most demanding industries through unique materials that are lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant, and able to withstand extremely high temperatures and pressures.

With more than 900 active alloy recipes, our offering comprises products for several customer segments, mainly seamless tubes for the energy, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and renewables industries. Safurex®, a high-alloy duplex (austenitic-ferritic) stainless steel developed to withstand the corrosive environments present in the Stamicarbon urea process. We also produce
bi-metallic tubing with a bonded zirconium inner layer and stainless outer layer for corrosive nitric acid plants as well as austenitic grades like Sanicro® 69 and Alleima® 2RE10 last up to 35 years.
