Site visit to CleanCarbon's Sines Plant

CRU's Silicon Market Forum 2017 will include a site visit to CleanCarbon's Sines Plant on Wednesday 22nd November.

CleanCarbon has, for more than 100 years and through four generations, supplied specialised carbon materials to the alloy industry. For the last 20 years the focus has been to supply the Silicon metal industry with high quality reductants. This year the plant in Sines has completed a major upgrade resulting in a modern plant with state of the art equipment to process sized and washed low ash coals. During the visit you will gain an overview of the entire process from discharging of the raw coals to the final loading of the low ash coals.
