Call for Papers: Present your experience to a large audience of refiners in Galveston

We are now accepting abstracts for the following content tracks at RefComm Galveston 2024:


Delayed Coking
Fluid Catalytic Cracking
Sulfur Recovery 

This is an excellent opportunity for refiners and vendors to share lessons learned, best practice, and new technologies, materials and equipment to optimize productivity and safety. We welcome abstracts in the following areas:

Case studies demonstrating operational experience in:

  • Improvements and optimizations in safety and reliability
  • Process optimization and design
  • Equipment improvements and optimizations
  • Troubleshooting operational challenges and root cause analysis
  • Revamping, maintenance, repairs and turnarounds
  • Startups and commissioning
  • Operational best practice

Technology, process, materials and equipment innovations and improvements:

  • New technology developments to improve safety, reliability and operational efficiency ·
  • Materials and equipment developments ·
  • FCC and Sulfur Recovery catalyst developments ·
  • Emissions abatement and energy efficiency improvements

Presentation Guidelines

For priority consideration, please submit your abstracts as soon as possible, but no later than January 15. Preference will be given to presentations giving case studies and actual operating experience. We welcome abstracts from vendors that are co-authored and will be co-presented with the operating company. We encourage all presenters to submit their abstract online using our new abstracts management system, but please do not hesitate to contact Becky Peterson with questions or concerns.

Do you have permission to make a presentation? Please seek permission to present from your management and legal teams as early as possible.

Presentations will be given April 29 - May 3, 2024 in Galveston. The provisional agenda will be released in early 2024.
