Marco Levi

Marco Levi is Chief Executive Officer of Ferroglobe PLC, global leading producer of Silicon Metal and Ferroalloys since January 2020. Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj, a global fiber materials company. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and Business President at Styron and spent over 22 years at Dow Chemical, in various departments and roles, ultimately serving as General Manager. Marco serves on Mativ’s Board of Directors and has held directorships in various companies. He holds a PhD in Industrial Chemistry from the Università degli Studi di Milano, Statale, in Italy.

Nancy Qiao

Clare Hanna

Clare Hanna joined CRU in August 2019 and currently works as a Senior Analyst covering Manganese Ore and Ferroalloys and is Editor of the Bulk Ferroalloys Monitor.Clare has over 30 years’ experience in the steel industry with British Steel, Tata Steel and Corus in a range of strategy, sales, marketing and procurement roles. Recent responsibilities include business development for wire rod and, prior to that, lead buyer ferroalloys for Tata Steel Group.Clare holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and BA Honours degree in Economics from Leeds University.

Samuel Hayes

Samuel joined CRU Analysis in January 2023 and is responsible for Molybdenum analysis services as part of the Base Metals group based at CRU's London Office. Prior to joining CRU, Samuel gained 3 years of experience in the Mining industry working as a Process and Proposals Engineer for Metso Outotec, with a previous focus on the pyro processing and combustion sectors.  

Samuel holds an MEng in Chemical Engineering from University College London, where he attained a First Class degree. His research project as part of his Master's degree was in the design and production of novel cathode materials for lithium sulphur batteries, investigating hollow carbon nanospheres for usage in next-generation batteries, for which he achieved a distinction.

Jason Sutton

Jason Sutton is the CEO of CPL Industries a company underpinned by a drive towards a better environment and decarbonisation. Tanya Atalay

Tanya Atalay has joined the ICDA as Senior Market Analyst in February 2024, she is an experienced market reporter and analyst with 11 years of expertise in monitoring and analyzing global steelmaking raw materials. She has previously worked as a Market Reporter and Analyst, as well as an Editor of Ferroalloys news with Metal Expert. Tanya Atalay holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from Dnipropetrovsk National University, Ukraine.

Willis Thomas

Since joining CRU in 2017, Willis has covered a wide range of mined commodities, metals and fertilizers in his time at CRU in several roles. Currently he is the head of CRU+, a team focused on covering critical minerals, minor metals and specialty areas for CRU.    

Before this he was the Inside Sales and Production Manager at Kapp Alloy & Wire, Inc., a US based manufacturer of solder and other non-ferrous wires where he focused on daily metal pricing for raw and finished products, metals purchasing, and the management of production operations. Previously he worked in economic development with a focus on business outreach and retention.

Piyush Goel

Piyush joined CRU in August 2022 and currently serves as a Consultant. He specializes in several minor metals including rare earths, gallium, and vanadium. Throughout his time at CRU, he has contributed to various vanadium projects and was a lead author of the company's latest Vanadium Report. Before joining CRU, Piyush worked at a Big Four firm, focusing on the financial sector. He holds an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a B.Com (Hons.) from the University of Delhi.
