Zhu Kebing, Vice president of China Minmetals Group Co., Ltd., Senior Accountant, has rich experience in strategic management, capital operation, and investment management. Formerly served as the General Manager of the Industrial and Financial Integration Development Center of China Baowu Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., the General Manager of Huabao Investment Co., Ltd., and the Chief Accountant of China United Network Communication Group Co., Ltd.

朱可炳，中国五矿集团有限公司副总经理，正高级会计师，拥有丰富的战略管理、资本运作、投资管理经验。曾任中国宝武钢铁集团有限公司产业和金融业结合发展中心总经理，华宝投资有限公司总经理，中国联合网络通信集团有限公司总会计师等职。

BIOGRAPHY

Mr Leopoldo Reynes is a Commercial Engineer specializing in Economy from University of Chile. He worked for the Codelco’s Marketing Department as an Advisor and was responsible for unrefined material sales. He was an Advisor for the Chilean Commission for Copper (Cochilco), Board Member for San Antonio’s Port Authority (Epsa) and Correos de Chile (Chile Post Office). He has also worked as a consultant for casting and refinery companies such as Caraiba Metais from Paranapanema Group and Mineracao Caraiba (Brazil); as well as Birla Copper (India). He has been an agent for several companies for marketing of non-ferrous metals and minerals and participated in the creation of companies in Chile and Brazil. He is currently the President for Sudmetal, South American Metals Company.

Mr. Ge Honglin is a member of the Standing Committee of the 13 th National Committee and Economic Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC). Now he is the President of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA), the convenor of Non-executive Directors of Aviation Industry Corporation of China, LTD. and China Rongtong Asset Management Group Corporation Limited, and a consultant of China Association of Mayors. Mr. Ge Honglin holds a PhD of Engineering and is a Professorate Senior Engineer. He was the Deputy General Manager of Baosteel Group and the President of Baosteel Research Institute in 1998. He has long been engaged in the research on new steel materials, planning and management of large metallurgical projects. Mr. Ge served as Mayor of People’s Government of Chengdu Municipality from 2003 to 2014. During that period of time, he presided over major international conferences such as the 2013 Fortune Global Forum and the China-U.S. Mayors’ Forum. He was honored with the National Model City Leadership Award for Environmental Protection and the China Mayors’ Special Contribution Award. From 2014 to 2019, Mr. Ge took the positions of Board Chairman of Aluminum Corporation of China, Director of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, and Vice-Chairman of International Aluminium Institute. He delivered speeches at international forums such as China-U.S., China-EU business leaders and former senior officials’ dialogues. From 2020 to 2023, he served as convenor of Non-executive Directors of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

Aurora Williams Baussa holds a Degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Católica del Norte. She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration and Management from the Universitat de Lleida in Spain.

She is a member of the Partido Radical (PR), and has more than 30 years of experience in senior executive positions in various companies in northern Chile, in particular in Antofagasta, her hometown.

In 2014, she was appointed Mining Minister during the second administration of former President Michelle Bachelet, becoming only the second woman to hold the position in the country’s history after Karen Poniachik.

During the first administration of Michelle Bachelet, she served as Antofagasta Regional Secretary of the Public Works Ministry.

Juan Ignacio Díaz is the President and CEO of the International Copper Association. With more than 18 years of experience leading complex businesses within major corporations, he has directed sustainable technology implementation across the energy, mining and transportation sectors.    Juan Ignacio’s professional journey spans from his most recent position as the Senior Vice President and CCO for Siemens USA and Latin America to serving as the CEO of Siemens in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean; CEO of Siemens Chile; and GC for Siemens South America.   Juan Ignacio holds an MBA from Adolfo Ibanez University, an LL.M from Duke University School of Law and a LL.B/JD from Finis Terrae University School of Law.

Matthew Chamberlain is the CEO of the London Metal Exchange and a member of the Management Committee of HKEX Group. Matthew joined the LME in 2012, having advised HKEX on the acquisition of the LME while at UBS. He started his career at Citibank, and holds an MA from Trinity College, Cambridge.

Erik Heimlich is Head of Copper and Zinc at CRU and works across the portfolio of products analysing key trends and developments in these industries.Since joining CRU in 2012, Erik has been particularly involved in the analysis of the copper market with a particular focus on Latin American mine supply and the global copper concentrates market.Erik holds an MSc in Economics and Econometrics from Essex University and is based in CRU's Santiago office.

Motoki (Mick) Makita is responsible for managing the global copper cathode book of Mitsui & Co. Ltd. Motoki has over two decades of experience trading primary aluminium, secondary aluminium, and copper cathode and has good connections and relationships with end-users in China and the Asian region, and suppliers in the global market. He also worked as an expat in Moscow, Russia(2010-2013) and London, U.K.(2017-2020) and has much experience in the global mining sector. He completed the general management program at the Harvard Business School in 2018.

Mr. LU Xinliang (Lucas Lu) joined ZTT in 2010 and now is deputy general manager of international business division, ZTT Marine Industry Group.  He is responsible for strategic management of international sales & marketing, project risk management, contract compliance and also overall management and governance of teams' performance.  Mr. Lu holds a Bachelor of Arts form Harbin Engineering University and a Master of Business Administration from Shanghai Jiaotong University. He has a great understanding and experience of submarine cable application in offshore wind, power transmission, telecommunication and oil and gas industries.

Francisco joined CRU Consulting in 2019 after a nine-year career across the base and battery metals sector. Before this Francisco co-founded and led the business development at Kura Minerals, advising on acquisition strategies, deal structuring and project financing across a wide spectrum of mining companies and financial institutions.

Francisco also worked at BHP where he was responsible for geometallurgy and project development at Escondida mine site in northern Chile, and involved in mineral processing R&D for different assets in the company’s Copper group.

During his MSc degree thesis, Francisco explored public policy and macroeconomics aspects of the resource industry´s role in economic growth.

Francisco based in CRU's Santiago office holds a Chemical Engineer degree from University of Concepción, Chile and a M.Sc. Industry, Trade & Development from University of Manchester, United Kingdom.

Zuo Haoen, Market Research Manager of Minmetals Non-Ferrous Metals Company Limited and Standing Researcher of Minmetals International Copper Research Group. He has conducted field research on over 70 manufacturing enterprises and is frequently invited to deliver keynote speeches at various industry conferences.

Duncan Hobbs brings 30 years of experience to his London-based role as director of market research for all non-ferrous metals and related materials, including copper, traded by Concord Resources Ltd. Previously he managed an international team of senior staff delivering non-ferrous metals and bulk commodities market research at Noble Group, based in Singapore. Underlying these positions with physical traders, Mr Hobbs’ previous experience includes commodities market research and business development roles in financial services with Macquarie Bank; mining and metal production with Nyrstar; engineering services with Hatch; and independent research with CRU, where he was a member of the steel team. He began his career in dry bulk shipping market research with Drewry in London.
