Call for Papers: Deadline extended to 31 August 2018

Take part in the most respected technical conference in the industry. The call for technical papers for the 2019 conference is now open - submit your abstract by 31 August 2018 at www.nitrogenabstracts.com

Presenting at the conference provides an ideal platform to demonstrate thought leadership, innovation and operational experience to an international audience of technical experts.   

We welcome abstracts covering the following areas:

Case studies demonstrating operational experience Process optimisation and design
Advances in environmental efficiency and strategies for compliance Improved energy efficiency
Equipment improvements and optimisations Operational challenges and solutions
Best practice health and safety initiatives Application of improved technology or catalysts
Revamping, maintenance and turnarounds  Technology, process, materials and equipment innovations and improvements

The conference spans the entire nitrogen and syngas value chain, and we encourage submissions pertaining to the production of the following nitrogen and syngas derivatives:
Ammonia Urea
Syngas Methanol Hydrogen GTL Ammonium Nitrate Nitric acid Gasification

Selection criteria

All abstracts submitted are reviewed by the technical steering committee chaired by CRU. Abstracts will be graded against the following criteria:

 Novelty/innovation Objectivity
 Operational experience  Solutions to operational challenges

Papers authored or co-authored by operating companies will be prioritised, but we encourage all organisations to share their experience and solutions at this must-attend gathering of the global nitrogen and syngas community.

Abstract submission and notification

All abstracts need to be submitted online at www.nitrogenabstracts.com by 31 August 2018. There is no template to follow, but we recommend your abstract be between 200 - 500 words and address at least one of the selection criteria above. Submission is free, however successful abstracts will be subject to a discounted registration fee for the presenter (excluding operators who receive complimentary registration). All submitters will be notified of acceptance by email no later than 29 October 2018.
