We are now
accepting abstracts for the following content tracks at RefComm Galveston 2022:
Delayed Coking Fluid Catalytic Cracking Sulphur
Recovery Solvent Deasphalting
This
is an excellent opportunity for refiners and vendors to share lessons learned,
best practice, and new technologies, materials and equipment to optimize
productivity and safety. We welcome abstracts in the following areas:
Case studies demonstrating operational experience in:

- Process
optimization and design
- Equipment
improvements and optimizations
- Troubleshooting
operational challenges and root cause analysis
- Revamping,
maintenance, repairs and turnarounds

Presentation Guidelines
For priority consideration, please submit your abstracts as soon as possible, but no later than 19 November. Preference will be given to presentations giving case studies and actual operating experience. We welcome abstracts from vendors that are co-authored and will be co-presented with the operating company. We encourage all presenters to submit their abstract online using our new abstracts management system, but please do not hesitate to contact Amanda Whicher with questions or concerns.
Do you have permission to make a presentation? Please seek permission to present from your management and legal teams as early as possible.
Presentations will be given 9-12 May 2022, in Galveston. The provisional agenda will be released in early 2022.
While presenting in-person is preferred, we will consider remote/virtual presentations. Please indicate if you expect you will only be able to present remotely when submitting your abstract.
Key dates for your calendar
1. Call for papers deadline: December 10, 2021
Submit your abstract online as soon as possible for priority consideration, but no later than December 10, 2021.
Regular Title – 10 words max.
Abstract – A full description of the scope of
your presentation, up to 500 words.
2. Abstract approval notifications: January 14, 2022
All abstracts will be reviewed by our board of advisors; a group of refiners and other industry professionals, who will review abstracts based on the topic’s value to the industry. Operational experience, novelty and objectivity will also be considered as selection criteria. Upon approval of your abstract, you will be asked to complete your registration as a presenter.
3. Presenter registration and permission to distribute deadline: January 28, 2022
You will be asked to submit your photo, bio and company logo, plus your permission to distribute form when registering. All presenters are expected to register and pay to attend the conference. Biographies should be 5
sentences or less and should include: name, title, company, number of years in
the industry, 1 career highlight, and 1 personal factoid.
