Devon Winter is the Chief Operations Officer of F. W. Winter Inc. & Co. a metal and alloy powder manufacturer for automotive, welding, and aerospace industries. A second-generation small manufacturing company.
Ms. Winter began as a Sales and Marketing associate for F. W. Winter. In her role she supported outside sales with document control and logistics. In 2016 Ms. Winter became Director of Operations successfully implementing lean manufacturing and ISO 9001:2015 quality management system for the company. In 2020 Ms. Winter became Chief Operations Officer overseeing the overall management and operations of the company globally representing the company globally.
Ms. Winter holds an undergraduate degree from The University of Vermont during which she spent a semester studying business at Qingdao University in Qingdao, China. Ms. Winter holds a M.S. and a M.B.A from Drexel University.
Ms. Winter served on the Board of Women in Manufacturing (WiM). WiM is the only national and global trade association dedicated to providing year-round support to women who have chosen a career in the manufacturing industry. At present, more than 20,000 individual members representing more than 2,500 manufacturing companies have joined their growing ranks of industry professionals from 48 U.S. states and from 47 countries. Ms. Winter continues to advise WiM on international expansion of their programming through her participation on the International Committee.
In 2023 Ms. Winter joined the Council for International Chromium Development Association (ICDA). An independent voice for the chromium industry. Representing members across the value chain to promote best practices for sustainable uses and responsible chromium sourcing.
Kevin Pritchett is Director of Marketing for Climax Molybdenum, a Freeport-McMoRan Company. He has held roles in market analysis, plant operations and business development for the company. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
Carryn Underhill has been with Ore & Metal for 16 years starting in the Iron Ore Logistics department then moving to Manganese Ore Logistics, Manganese Ore sales and finally settling in Alloy Sales where she have been for the past 10 years.
Josh Spoores joined CRU in 2012 as Principal Analyst and editor of CRU’s Steel Sheet Monitor and Steel Sheet Market Outlook. During that time, Mr. Spoores forecast prices, demand, production and trade of sheet and plate products for both Canada and the US. Today, he heads up steel analysis and forecasting for the wider Americas region. Prior to joining CRU, he was a Senior Marketing Analyst at Severstal North America, founder of Steel Reality, a forward-looking market analysis firm using a models-based approach for flat rolled and plate steel. He was also the Market Research Manager at Majestic Steel USA, one of the largest flat rolled service centres in the USA. He has a BSc in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
Terrance T. Perles joined US Steel Corporation in 1980 as a Construction Management Engineer and held assignments at the company’s steel mills in Homestead and Clairton, Pennsylvania. In 1988, Mr. Perles joined vanadium producer Stratcor and during his 20-year tenure held positions in sales, marketing and senior management. By 2006, the EVRAZ Group had acquired controlling interest in Stratcor and Mr. Perles joined East Metals S.A. of Lugano Switzerland, the trading arm of the EVRAZ Group. In March 2010, Mr. Perles established TTP Squared, Inc., a metals industry consulting firm serving both producers and consumers of vanadium chemicals and alloys. In May 2012 Mr. Perles joined the senior management team of Atlantic Ltd., owners and operators of the Windimurra vanadium project in Western Australia. In 2019 Mr Perles and a group of investors formed US Vanadium LLC for the purpose of acquiring Evraz Stratcor Inc and the vanadium production facility in Hot Springs Arkansas. Mr. Perles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh
