The Cobalt Institute (CI) is the Global Association representing the cobalt industry and value chain. Our Members are composed of producers, users, recyclers, and traders of cobalt. We promote the sustainable and responsible production and use of cobalt in all its forms.
The CI plays a critical role in advancing the interests of our members helping to grow and protect market for cobalt. We are a knowledge centre for governments, agencies, industry, the media and the public on all matters concerning cobalt and cobalt containing substances.
The MMTA is the home for those engaged in the minor and specialty metals sector. It is a not–for-profit organisation dedicated to serve and promote the interests of its international membership. The MMTA is the largest association for minor and specialty metals, including rare earths and ferro-alloys, with members across the globe in over 20 countries involved in the 49 MMTA metals, as well as many others.
With developments in high-technology and a wide range of other industrial applications, the scope of minor metals activity has increased dramatically since the MMTA was founded in London in 1973. The MMTA works with and on behalf of its members to address issues that affect our industry by drawing on the collective experience of its membership.
